What Are Shingles? FOX 2 Now May 11, 2011

April 7, 2011

Cardinals Manager Tony LaRussa wasn’t at Tuesday’s game. He’s on the DL because he has Shingles. Shingles is a viral infection of the nerve roots. It causes a painful rash on the side of the body that can last from four days to four weeks, but the pain can linger for years.
