Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Rick Lehman from the U.S Center for Sports Medicine in Kirkwood discussed the “no-shoe” movement. Dr. Lehman explained that you need shoes for structural support to help your back and knees.

Even barefoot marathon runners should be weary of the continual breakdown of feet structure.
